Stephanie and Kevin's 1st BIG road trip since buying the Victory Touring bikes. Our goal is just going West. With 3 weeks to kill while taking only back roads and photographing along the way. Hoping to find some true Americana. Camping at parks or staying at old roadside motor inns where we can and dinning in mom and pop diners. The way many travelers before us saw America. Good Bye highway, so long Holiday Inn Express, and no more Cracker Barrels.... Hello America here we come!

Day 4 Skiing at Red Lodge Mountain
No pictures today. For beginners, I am not a skier but Stephanie loves skiing. I spent almost all my time riding the Magic carpet up to the Bunny slope. I'm not bragging but I was heads and shoulders above everyone else using the Bunny Slope, I was like big man on campus. Stephanie had to be proud. She coerced my away from my beloved Bunny Slope to the Hill of DEATH or as the map said an easy slope named Miami. Not sure how many times or ways I tumbled but they were many, so much that at the end of my skiing I filled out a suggestion card asking them to flavor their snow before I return. Stephanie returned to her Black Diamond trails and I spent some more quality time on the Bunny Slope. I ventured out to Miami again on my own once more only to crash twice within sight of the ski lift. Crash many more times on my way down and met Stephanie as I reached the bottom, She coerced me again to try Miami and I went along. Amazingly I made a clean run without crashing. I hugged her and sent her on her way to the big hills and headed back to the hotel for Ibuprofen and a hot shower, then returned later and picked her up. GREAT day no broken bones or sprains..... I'm never going to be a skier but I will go and try.

You did GREAT on the slopes. It's not like we have a lot of quality skiing here in KY so what you accomplished this day was wonderful! Just think how good you'd be if you could do it more than once every 4-5 years. :)
