Stephanie and Kevin's 1st BIG road trip since buying the Victory Touring bikes. Our goal is just going West. With 3 weeks to kill while taking only back roads and photographing along the way. Hoping to find some true Americana. Camping at parks or staying at old roadside motor inns where we can and dinning in mom and pop diners. The way many travelers before us saw America. Good Bye highway, so long Holiday Inn Express, and no more Cracker Barrels.... Hello America here we come!

End of Day 1 Lawrenceburg, Ky To Carlinville, Il- Kevin
Great day, Matt and Karen met us and rode across Indiana and part of the way into Illinois before parting ways. Found an awesome restaurant Dogwood BBQ in Vincennes, In that we all need to return to for dinner. A little hot today the highest temp I saw on the gauge was 104. Finished our day with a surprise stop for Stephanie at Henry's Rabbit Ranch on Route 66 in Staunton Il. Found a great old hotel here on Route 66 and looking forward to an early start tomorrow.
