After a good lunch and warming up after our morning misadventure, I talked Kevin into going back to Many Glaciers to "hunt" moose and do some general hiking. We lucked out and got the moose right away! After a couple hundred shots of her grazing in the lake we headed to Red Rock Falls.
En route to the falls we came across a Downy (or Hairy) Woodpecker who didn't give a hoot about us getting a few feet from him to snap several pics. Then a doe and buck felt the same way about us - they just didn't care.
Red Rock Falls was beautiful and worth the 5 mile hike. I can't get over the wild flowers still in boom! I also finally found the elusive Huckleberry and got to enjoy some the bears missed. Yum. We left Many Glaciers wet and cold and fought over who got to get the hot shower first. I was nice and let him go first, had a night cap and I'm ready for sleep. We hope to get an early start tomorrow for our next destination - Columbia Gorge.
Oh yeah. Almost forgot , miles in bikes today was a measly 85. Sad.
